Privacy notice

This notice describes how Candid Ledger Team currently treats data on Candid Ledger. Effective 15 August 2026.

01

Controller and contact

Candid Ledger Team is identified as the publication controller. Privacy enquiries may be directed to the editorial team via the contact page.

02

Data currently processed

Core pages are statically rendered. No analytics, advertising tracker, comment database, account system or contact form is connected. This edition does not accept community submissions.

03

Server and security records

A hosting provider may process ordinary request metadata needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, timestamp, path and user agent. Retention and transfer terms must match the production provider configuration before public release.

04

Messages

If a reader emails an address shown on the site, the operator would process the message and routing information to respond, keep an accountability record and protect the publication. Send only data necessary for the enquiry.

05

Rights and complaints

A person may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or other applicable rights via the contact page. Identity checks should be proportionate; never provide wallet secrets. A complaint may also be made to the competent data-protection authority.

06

Children, transfers and changes

The service is not directed to children and must not receive financial credentials or identity documents. Any future processor, optional cookie or international transfer requires an updated inventory, lawful basis, safeguards and a dated notice change.
